The role involves preventive maintenance, on-demand service, and start-up support across the LA area. Travel expectations are substantial, with on-call and weekend duties as required.

Ideal candidates will have vocational/technical training or an associate degree, 1–3 years of field service experience, and strong communication skills for effective customer interaction.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years field service experience with electro-mechanical products.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• PC software and basic networking knowledge.
• Self-starter, well organized, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled preventive maintenance to contract customers.
• Provide on-demand corrective, 24/7 emergency, and paid services.
• Perform start-up services on Translogic Systems.
• Train customers on system operation and maintenance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and customer consignments.
• Complete service work orders and downtime reports on time.
• Travel 30–70% of the time; on-call and weekend work as needed.
