Job summary

Swisslog Healthcare seeks a Field Service Technician to support Transport Automation systems in the Sacramento area. You will perform preventive maintenance, on-call service, start-up support, and customer training while traveling within the territory and coordinating with Installation Specialists.

Qualifications include 1–3 years in field service on electro-mechanical products, strong communication, and the ability to read technical diagrams.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years field service experience with electro-mechanical products.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams to extract necessary technical information.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled preventive maintenance services to contract customers in assigned area.
• Provide on-demand corrective, 24/7 emergency, and paid services to customers.
• Provide start-up services on Translogic Systems as assigned.
• Train customers on system and light maintenance operations.
• Promote parts orders and inventory stocking levels to customers.
• Maintain accountability/inventory of assigned spare parts and customer consignment inventories.
• Report product quality issues to assigned Senior Field Service Engineer and/or Customer Care Manager.
