Job summary

TransCore ITS, LLC in Houston, TX is seeking a Technician I to perform on-site or in-house servicing, repair and installation of customer equipment. This role covers electrical, data, and fiber optic installation, as well as network equipment and video surveillance systems.

You will complete reports, diagnose hardware and software issues, respond to maintenance requests, and ensure equipment is restored quickly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years related experience.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Comfortable working at heights up to 50 ft.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair customer equipment on-site or in-house.
• Diagnose hardware, software, and system issues and report status.
• Complete reports and logs; communicate shift-to-shift updates.
• Maintain spare equipment and parts per policy.
• Test units and components in field and lab environments.
