Job summary

Deep South Equipment is seeking a Fleet/Field Technician to diagnose and repair forklifts and heavy equipment. You will be dispatched daily from your home and travel to customer sites to service equipment, perform diagnostics, and complete repairs.

A strong mechanical aptitude with 2+ years of hands-on experience in forklifts or heavy machinery is preferred. A technical background is valuable; a degree is not required. Benefits include company vehicle, training, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with forklifts, heavy machinery, automotive or related industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Analyze and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or failures.
• Repair or replace engines, transmissions, hydraulic components, electrical and air systems as needed.
• Perform tasks timely, accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain safe working environment and follow safety policies.
