Job summary

Midco is seeking a Field Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot services for residential and business customers. You will perform voice, video, and data installations, manage service changes, and repair network issues from tap to CPE while ensuring top-quality service.

The role involves in-home or business visits within ~30 miles of Rapid City, SD, with on-call duties and travel as needed. Training is provided, and safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Complete Midco First Time Right (FTR) certification within 90 days of hire and apply it on the job.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot services for residential and business customers.
• Perform voice, video, and data installations and service changes or disconnects.
• Troubleshoot from tap to CPE, ensure optimal signal and picture quality.
• Coordinate with Field Operations and Business Services to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Educate customers on Midco services, help with additional services and online help.
• Log work orders and referrals; mentor teammates and cross-train where needed.
• Maintain safety protocols and operate company vehicle in compliance with policies.
