Job summary

You will remove, install, configure, and test equipment, troubleshoot, read schematics and drawings, support site surveys, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. Lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing ladders are required; FAA clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Remove, install, configure, and test communications equipment and supporting infrastructure at FAA facilities.
• Perform system troubleshooting and repair to ensure optimal operation of the system.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret installation drawings and specifications.
• Support site surveys to assess installation requirements and plan logistics.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Document installation, repair, and maintenance activities accurately.
• Travel extensively to FAA facilities for 3- to 5-month durations as required.
• Lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds; climb ladders as needed.
• Obtain FAA Public Trust clearance or a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
