Job summary

Zipline in Austin is hiring a Field Support Technician to keep our Dropbox locations safe, reliable, and ready to serve customers daily. This role travels between partner sites to inspect equipment, perform light maintenance, troubleshoot problems, and ensure safety and quality standards.

You’ll work independently, communicate with partners, and document issues for the internal team. The position is a six-month contract with potential to convert to full-time based on performance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical or mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools.

Responsibilities

• Visit Dropbox locations to ensure cleanliness, safety, and readiness for daily operations.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Conduct basic repairs and troubleshoot issues within training scope.
• Identify safety concerns or operational problems before they affect partners.
• Escalate issues promptly to the appropriate internal teams.
• Document details, photos, and notes for issue resolution.
