Legacy Engineering, P.C., a Fredericksburg-based civil engineering firm, is seeking a Construction Field Technician to join its CMT team. This hands-on, outdoor role involves testing soils, concrete, and construction materials at active project sites and documenting results for project managers.

The company provides training and pay for industry certifications, offering a path to grow in construction, engineering, or infrastructure inspection within a collaborative environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Interest in construction, engineering, or field work.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 85 pounds and remain active throughout the workday.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Travel to construction sites in the Fredericksburg region to perform field testing of soil, concrete, and other construction materials.
• Work alongside contractors, engineers, and inspectors on active construction projects.
• Perform basic field tests using specialized equipment and industry procedures.
• Document test results and site observations using a tablet or field reports.
• Communicate with project managers and field supervisors regarding testing needs or site conditions.
• Maintain and properly use testing equipment while following safety standards.
