Job Title: Construction Laborer - Field Technician

Job Summary:

This position involves working effectively with supervisors and peers in locating, investigating, and cleaning for the successful rehabilitation and repair of sewer and stormwater lines.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate successfully with supervisors and team members on water and sewer rehabilitation projects.
2. Operate equipment, adjusting machinery to meet location needs.
3. Assist in setup and cleanup of job sites, including lifting, carrying, and pulling items over 50 lbs.
4. Review work permits and pre/post-installation videos.
5. Enter manholes and confined spaces safely.
6. Set up and clean up job sites.
7. Transport equipment and crew members using various vehicles.
8. Maintain daily driver’s records.
9. Report vehicle and equipment maintenance needs.
10. Monitor safety hazards continuously and report issues.
11. Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in outdoor physical labor and construction.
• CIPP experience and CDL preferred.
• Clean driving record.
• Safety certifications such as Confined Space, OSHA 10/30-hour, traffic control, as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Pass drug tests and driver’s license checks (no suspensions or major violations in past 2 years).
• Lift, carry, and haul up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to travel up to 90% as needed.
• Work effectively in confined spaces.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to talk, hear, stand, walk, sit, use hands, and occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs. Vision requirements include close focus and focus adjustment. Must work around large construction equipment safely.
