Field Service Technician – East Moline, IL

Road Machinery & Supplies Co. is searching for a Field Service Technician to join its team at our East Moline, IL location. In this role, you will be the service repair contact for RMS customers in your geographic area, with potential dispatch to other areas as needed. You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of quick response time and prioritizing customer repairs with a high sense of urgency.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a valid Class A driver’s license.
• Troubleshoot engine, driveline, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Perform high-quality work on customer job sites.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Technical or trade school training.
• Minimum of five (5) years of mechanical experience.
• Own your tooling to perform work.
• Work responsibly, safely, and intelligently.

• Ability to engage respectfully with customers, co-workers, and vendors.

Minimum Physical Requirements:

• Push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Lift/carry up to 60 lbs.
• Lift bulky objects.
• Stand, walk, use hands, talk, hear, rotate neck and trunk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, kneel, squat, reach overhead and forward, crawl, and perform high steps and finger/grasp tasks.
• Work conditions may be indoor and outdoor with potentially loud noise levels.
