Title: Electronic/Robotic Field Technician

Remote/travel to customer location

Job Description

The technician will support the operation, maintenance, and testing of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) or similar robotic systems in a real-world environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Robot Inspections: Examine robots and related systems to ensure they are working correctly and safely.
• System Boot-Up & Troubleshooting: Start up Linux-based systems and resolve any software/hardware issues.
• Environment Setup: Prepare the workspace and support robots in executing predefined tasks.
• Data Recording: Log system performance, problems encountered, and suggest areas for improvement.
• Customer Interaction: Assist customers in selecting and organizing goods for robot testing.

Required Skills:

• Linux Command Line Knowledge: Ability to operate and troubleshoot on Linux using terminal commands.
• Documentation: Capable of writing procedures or work instructions clearly.
• Training Experience: A plus if you’ve taught or trained others.
• AMR Experience: Prior work with Autonomous Mobile Robots is beneficial but not required.
• Customer-Facing Skills: You should be comfortable working in professional settings and communicating with clients.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to stay calm and resolve issues under pressure.
• Tech Enthusiasm: Openness to working with emerging technologies.
• Attention to Detail & Awareness: Must be detail-oriented and aware of the surrounding technical and operational environment.
