Job summary

Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc. - Chico, TX is seeking a Technical Trainer to deliver and participate in technical and MSHA safety training for service technicians and customers, covering engines, powertrains, hydraulics, electrical and braking systems.

You will develop hands-on training, create instructional materials, and travel 70%+ to branches and events to ensure on-site competency and product knowledge across our equipment lines, including Wirtgen products, while upholding our safety standards.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of Technical/Heavy Equipment Repair Experience required.
• Proficient knowledge of Engines, Powertrains, Hydraulics, Electrical, and Braking Systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and various web-based applications.
• Ability to frequently travel to other branches, technical schools, and events.
• Exceptional Interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Provides and participates in technical training for service technicians and customers.
• Develops and delivers hands-on training in a classroom setting.
• Develops training materials and training practices that support productive adult learning.
• Delivers MSHA Safety Training for service personnel, sales personnel, and Product Support Reps.
• Travels 70% or more to each branch to provide training.
• Ensures on-site attendance and supports training needs across the network.
