Job summary

Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc. is seeking a Technical Trainer to deliver hands-on and classroom training for service technicians and customers on heavy equipment, including Wirtgen products.

Five years of technical/heavy equipment repair experience, strong knowledge of engines, powertrains, hydraulics, electrical and braking systems, and proficient MS Office skills are required. The trainer will travel to branches (70% or more), develop training materials, provide MSHA and OSHA safety trainings,

Qualifications

• Five years of Technical/Heavy Equipment Repair experience is required.
• Proficient with Engines, Powertrains, Hydraulics, Electrical, and Braking Systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; willing to travel.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to work at multiple branches/events.

Responsibilities

• Delivers hands-on and classroom training to service technicians and customers.
• Develops training materials and training practices for productive adult learning.
• Provides MSHA Safety Training for staff and customers as requested.
• Travels to branch locations to provide training (70% or more).
• Ensures consistent and reliable on-site attendance and training quality.
