Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc. in Texas is seeking a Technical Trainer to lead hands-on and classroom training for service technicians and customers, covering engines, powertrains, hydraulics, electrical and braking systems, including MSHA safety topics.

You will develop materials, deliver manufacturer training, and travel to branches to conduct sessions, with a strong emphasis on OSHA/MSHA safety, and a commitment to the One Mission, One Team values.

Qualifications

• Five years of heavy equipment repair experience.
• Proficient with engines, powertrains, hydraulics, electrical, and braking systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide and participate in technical training for technicians and customers.
• Deliver product and manufacturer training.
• Develop hands-on training in classroom settings.
• Deliver MSHA safety training for staff and customers.
• Travel to branches to conduct training sessions (70% or more).
• Create training materials and training practices that support adult learning.
• Maintain consistent on-site attendance and safety compliance.
