Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc. seeks a Technical Trainer to deliver hands-on and classroom training for service technicians, customers, and staff, focusing on proper repair and maintenance of heavy equipment including Wirtgen products and related lines.

Responsibilities include developing training materials, delivering on-site and classroom sessions, providing MSHA and OSHA safety instruction, and traveling 70%+ to support branches while upholding the company vision of One Mission, One Team, One

Qualifications

• Five years of technical/heavy equipment repair experience.
• Proficient knowledge of engines, powertrains, hydraulics, electrical, and braking systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and related apps.
• Ability to frequently travel to other branches, schools, and events.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Train service technicians and customers on proper repair and maintenance of equipment, including Wirtgen products and other lines.
• Develop and deliver hands-on training in classroom settings.
• Develop training materials and practices to support productive adult learning.
• Deliver MSHA Safety Training for service personnel and sales reps.
• Travel to branch locations to provide training 70% or more.
