NiSource Inc. is seeking a Field Technical Trainer to support modernization of training, technology, and processes within an ongoing learning environment.

You will train, mentor, and develop field employees, delivering hands-on training and knowledge transfer to ensure safe, efficient work in compliance with regulations. The role emphasizes integrating classroom training, hands-on practice, and simulation, driving operational excellence through needs assessments and partnerships with Operations

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in natural gas industry or related training role.
• Knowledge of maintenance and operating procedures in training.
• Understanding of state/federal gas pipeline regulations.
• Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of PC applications/skills (PST, LMS, Onboard, WMS, MDTs, etc.)
• DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Upon Hire

Responsabilités

• Participate in on-the-job coaching events to build knowledge and skills in natural gas operations.
• Integrate classroom training with hands-on practice and simulations to maximize learning.
• Train learning initiatives that provide practical field experience for employees.
• Support development of employees toward senior positions by monitoring progress in training.
• Coordinate, deliver, and facilitate training programs as needed.
• Promote and ensure a safe work environment as part of the safety program.
