Job summary

Interface, Inc. is seeking a Technical Specialist to be the technical expert for the nora rubber flooring portfolio. Based in LaGrange, GA, you will partner with customers and sales to ensure successful installations, troubleshoot, and provide technical guidance.

You will assess installer capabilities, write reports, and support training and literature development. Travel up to 60–70% domestically is required during projects and field engagements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with resilient flooring and installation.
• Experience with mitigation systems and floor preparation is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and ability to use company IT tools.
• Willingness to travel 60-70% domestically, with occasional international travel.

Responsibilities

• Demonstration of proper installation techniques for national accounts.
• Attend pre-construction and pre-installation meetings as required.
• Assess skill level of installers to determine eligibility for nora approved status.
• Inspection of product, installation and maintenance related complaints; provide documentation and propose solutions.
• Assist in writing/updating technical literature; provide technical support and samples as needed.
• Provide reports on major complaints and coordinate resolutions with the nora Technical Manager.
• Install test floors or replace as necessary; manage travel within budget.
• Conduct training in the nora Academy and participate in trade shows and meetings.
