Job summary

Formlabs is seeking a Field Technical Support Engineer for the UK & Ireland region. You will be the primary technical contact, traveling 80%+ to customer sites to install, train users, and perform repairs. A strong electromechanical background and the ability to teach others are essential. Fluent English and a valid B license are required.

Based in London/Manchester/Dublin, you will navigate high travel demand and manage logistics while delivering exceptional on-site support and customer success.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in electromechanical/hardware.
• Ability to teach others how to use the technology.
• Fluent English (C1-C2) and clear communication.
• Valid driver’s license (B) required.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission equipment at customer sites and train users on operation, software, and maintenance.
• Perform on-site break-fix and preventive maintenance with rapid response to downtime.
• Manage complex travel arrangements (flights, trains, hotels, cars) and document activities in Salesforce.
