ECS Group of Companies is seeking a Field Technician for our Mobile team. No experience is required as training is provided and you will learn under seasoned professionals to perform field testing and data collection on construction materials sites.

The role involves labor with soils, aggregates, and concrete, with safety training and opportunities to earn certifications. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 85 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and insurance.
• Willing to develop understanding of heavy construction safety and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct observation, testing, and sampling of soils, aggregates, and concrete on project sites under supervision.
• Perform routine field and laboratory tests for soils, aggregates, and concrete following industry standards.
• Collect data and perform calculations from test results; assist with drafting and admin tasks.
• Maintain daily communications with site contractors and project managers; report changes and testing needs.
• Receive training and document findings precisely according to engineering practices.
