Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Mount Laurel seeks a Construction Materials Testing Field Technician to join our team. No experience is required as you will learn under the guidance of seasoned professionals to safely perform a variety of tasks on project sites.

We provide paid training and will cover certification fees. You will conduct field activities, testing and sampling of soils, aggregates, and concrete, collect data, and communicate with contractors and project managers to support project

Qualifications

• No experience required and learning on the job under supervision.
• Must be able to lift at least 85 pounds and operate a vehicle safely.
• Willing to obtain CMT knowledge and related safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Field activities: observe, test, and sample soils, aggregates, and concrete at sites.
• Testing procedures: perform routine field and lab tests per standards.
• Data collection: compute results and assist with drafting and admin tasks.
• Communication: keep contractors and project managers informed on site conditions.
• Training and development: receive ECS methodology training and document findings.
