Job summary

USIC is seeking a Locator in Kitty Hawk, NC to identify and mark underground utilities. You will work in the field with a company vehicle, documenting each locate and ensuring accurate mark-out for excavators and property owners.

Responsibilities include safe locate of telecommunications, electric, gas, water and sewer lines, with overtime and on-call shifts possible. Training is provided, and growth opportunities exist within the company.

Qualifications

• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficient with technology and field tools.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read locate tickets, maps and prints.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and efficiently.
• Mark locations clearly and complete required documentation.
• Photograph each locate with accurate records.
• Work daytime, overtime, weekends and on-call shifts as needed.
