Job summary

USIC seeks dedicated locators to join our team and locate underground utilities safely and accurately in designated areas. You will mark sites, document locations, and work with a company-provided vehicle to support field operations.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must pass a drug screen and have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to read locate tickets, maps and prints.
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and accurately.
• Mark locations and complete necessary documentation.
• Photograph and document each locate as required.
• Work daytime, full-time with potential overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.
