Job summary

USIC is America’s leader in underground utility damage prevention and advanced infrastructure services, performing more than 84 million locates each year for the telecommunications, electric, gas, water and sewer utilities nationwide. Our locator role is outdoors, requiring problem solving, safety focus, and the ability to work independently in the field with a company vehicle.

This daytime, full‑time position includes overtime, weekend and on‑call shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Correctly, safely, and efficiently locate underground utilities, including telecommunications, electric power, cable TV, gas, water, and sewer systems.
• Thoroughly search for underground utilities in a designated area, accurately marking the location, completing the necessary documentation, and photographing each locate.
