Job summary

Work completed in house (shop).

The job is hourly and reports to the Shop service manager. Candidates with dealership experience are encouraged to apply and must have their own tools.

Qualifications

• Troubleshooting to identify operating issues and determine corrective actions.
• Routine equipment maintenance and determining maintenance needs.
• Selecting tools and equipment needed for the job.
• Installing equipment or programs per specifications.
• Monitoring machine gauges and indicators during operation.
• Recognizing when something is wrong or likely to go wrong.
• Arranging actions in a logical sequence per rules.
• Dexterity to handle hand and power tools quickly and precisely.
• Ability to see details at close range.
• Coordinating multiple limbs while performing tasks.
• Precise control adjustment of machines or vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Overhaul and test machines to ensure operating efficiency.
• Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and drawings.
• Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoist and hand tools.
• Test equipment after repair to meet specifications.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
