Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is seeking an on-site IT Hardware Technician in Alpharetta, GA to troubleshoot and repair desktop and laptop hardware, support networking basics, and deliver strong customer service. The ideal candidate will handle Windows and macOS issues, work independently, and pass a background check.

Experience with ticketing systems and certifications such as CompTIA A+, MCSA, or CCNA/CCNP will help stand out. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Professional demeanor with strong customer service, consulting, and training skills.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing desktop and laptop hardware in field or related environment.
• Basic understanding of networks, Intel servers, and telecom systems.
• Strong break/fix skills for desktops, workstations, notebooks, and tablets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Windows and macOS troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
• Detail- and process-oriented mindset.
• Must pass a background security check and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site hardware troubleshooting and repair for desktops and laptops.

• Support executive-level users and maintain documentation for incidents.
