Abbott seeks a Technical Consultant for its Rapid Diagnostics division, based in Cleveland/Columbus, Ohio. The role involves on-site training, clinical support, and technical guidance for infectious disease diagnostic products, with 75% travel required.

The position requires a medical technology or nursing degree, state licensure as an RT or RN, and 3+ years of clinical lab or infectious disease nursing experience, plus POC testing implementation exposure and strong communication skills.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as Registered Medical Technologist or Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 3 years clinical lab or critical-care/infectious disease nursing experience.
• At least 1 year Point-of-Care Testing implementation or related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and PDF software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver on-site technical and clinical training on Abbott Infectious Disease products and instruments.
• Support customers with verification studies compliant with CLIA, CAP, COLA, and TJC regulations.
• Lead POC Link connectivity implementation with new and existing customers.
• Educate customers on clinical utility, operational value, and workflow optimization of products.
• Identify at-risk accounts, recommend retention strategies, and discover sales expansion opportunities.
