Job summary

UST – A Tech24 Company in Midland, TX is seeking a Field Service Technician to service commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment. You will diagnose, maintain, and repair systems, deliver excellent customer service, and represent the company professionally in the field.

This full-time role offers weekly pay, a company vehicle, uniforms, a gas card, health benefits, retirement plan with 401(k) match, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of commercial foodservice and/or refrigeration repair experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and work in varying indoor/outdoor conditions.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
• EPA Universal certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, etc.).
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration systems (walk-ins, reach-ins, prep tables, ice machines, etc.).
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe efficient equipment operations.
• Accurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system.
• Clearly communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers.
• Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked.
• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Represent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities.
