Job summary

Geotab Inc. is seeking a Field Hardware Technician to support the Video Tiger Team by delivering rapid, hands-on technical support at customer and pilot sites.

You will install, configure, test, and troubleshoot camera and telematics hardware, and collect training data for Geotab’s AI models. You will travel frequently to customer and test sites, perform pre-installation checks, calibrations, and validations, and collaborate with customers, installers, and internal teams to resolve issues

Qualifications

• Post-secondary certificate or degree in related field preferred.
• Experience with vehicle electrical systems and installation procedures.
• Ability to document work accurately.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test and troubleshoot Geotab Video hardware.
• Support pilots from pre-installation through completion.
• Document field findings and collect training data for AI models.
• Travel to customer sites ~70% of the time.
• Follow safety and data privacy policies.
