Job summary

Lytx, Inc. is seeking Field Service Technicians to support trial installs across key U.S. markets. You will install hardware, ensure proper activation, and remain on-site until every vehicle is recording.

The role requires hands-on hardware installation experience, mechanical and electrical aptitude, and frequent local or regional travel. Expect to work outdoors in varying conditions and coordinate with fleet managers and SEs when needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on hardware installation experience in vehicle environments.
• Familiarity with telematics hardware installations and vehicle systems.
• Ability to measure electrical signals using a DMM.
• Strong mechanical mounting, cabling, and power connection skills.
• Professional, customer-facing demeanor for fleet managers.
• Willingness to travel locally, regionally, and occasionally nationally/internationally.

Responsibilities

• Install hardware on mobile fleets and verify vehicle activation.
• Maintain and stock trial hardware kits; manage inventory.
• Source parts locally to prevent day-of delays.
• Conduct pre-site assessments and perform on-site installs.
• Verify connectivity and recording; troubleshoot activation issues.
• Communicate progress to fleet managers and escalate when needed.
