Qualifications

• 3 years of related experience in construction materials testing or a closely related field.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Maintain basic certifications as per ECS Technician Certification Policy.
• Valid driver’s license if driving for or on behalf of ECS subsidiaries.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
• Good understanding of construction materials testing principles and standards.
• Ability to evaluate test results for specification compliance.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Ability to balance field execution with coordination responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management and coordination of field staff.
• Support scheduling and staffing of technicians for projects.
• Mentor and train field technicians to ensure competency and development.
• Promote safety culture and PPE usage.
• Assist with safety training and compliance efforts.
• Perform field testing, observation, and inspection as needed.
• Communicate daily with technicians, project managers, and contractors.
• Assist with calibration and maintenance of field equipment and records.
• Support inventory management for equipment and supplies.
• Assist with recruiting and staffing to maintain team levels.
• Review and support field documentation and reporting accuracy.
• Provide support to Project Managers and Department leadership.
• Attend project meetings and support field coordination efforts.
• May assist with business development and client interaction.
• Perform other leadership and technical duties as assigned.
