Job summary

Traba is seeking a recruitment and onboarding coordinator to manage the worker lifecycle from sourcing to placement across multiple sites. You will build relationships with workforce centers and local partners to maintain a strong talent pipeline and brand presence in the market.

You will oversee vetting, drug testing, onboarding, and large-group sessions, while coordinating interviews and start dates to ensure optimal worker placement and on-site readiness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) required.
• 1–2+ years of experience in operations or customer-facing environments, including staffing, manufacturing, warehouse, retail, food service, teaching, or on-site coordination.
• Strong recruiting instincts and the ability to source, screen, and convert candidates.
• Comfortable running large group onboarding sessions and presenting to workers.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills (email and in-person).
• Professional demeanor and ability to represent Traba with workers, partners, and client stakeholders.
• Flexible and adaptable — able to shift priorities and locations as market needs evolve.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and a proactive problem solver.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic warehouse and field environments.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with workers across the market, owning the experience from recruiting through placement and providing timely updates, feedback, and support.
• Develop and maintain relationships with workforce centers, community organizations, and local partners to drive worker pipeline and brand presence.
• Oversee worker vetting, drug testing, and onboarding end-to-end, including large group onboarding sessions when volume requires.
• Manage the full worker funnel — sourcing, screening, scheduling, and converting applicants into placement-ready workers.
• Coordinate interviews and start schedules for new hires across customer sites, ensuring workers are matched to opportunities at the right time.
• Distribute and manage PPE, and provide on-site presence at customer facilities as needed to support new starts, escalations, or peak coverage.
• Maintain proactive feedback loops with Traba HQ — flag market trends, funnel issues, or coverage risks early.
