Job summary

WaterFleet LLC is seeking a System Operator 1 (SO1) to reliably operate and maintain water purification and wastewater treatment units. You will work remotely across geographically dispersed sites, with after-hours on-call rotations and potential long-distance travel.

You will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure safety, quality, and customer service while performing preventive maintenance and basic repairs. Strong mechanical aptitude and customer service experience are essential.

Qualifications

High School Grad; or GED.
Experience in MBR and water filtration.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years).
Valid class D wastewater license, preferably C.
Background check clear of DWI convictions in the last 5 years.
Foster teamwork and collaboration within and between departments.

Responsibilities

Oversee multiple locations and plan routes for basic preventive maintenance & repairs.
Monitor water purification and wastewater treatment unit performance.
Maintain, repair, overhaul, or install all types of water and chemical pumping.
Communicate clearly and respectfully with coworkers and customers.
Coordinate with HSE to ensure OSHA compliance and standards.
Attend weekly training and operator meetings.
Collect and manage billing info for assigned jobsites and provide to accounting before month end.
