Job summary

WaterFleet, LLC is seeking a System Operator 1 to manage routes, perform routine maintenance, monitor water purification and wastewater treatment units, and assist with installations. The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in remote locations under varying weather conditions.

The position involves after-hours on-call rotation, frequent travel, and interactions with customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to use basic hand/power tools for installation and maintenance.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, walk for long periods and lift up to 45 lbs.
• Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting.
• Experience with computer/tablet navigation and software.
• Knowledge of the oilfield environment and customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple locations and plan routes for basic preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor performance of water purification and wastewater treatment units.
• Maintain, repair, overhaul, or install water and chemical pumping systems.
• Communicate clearly with coworkers and customers.
• Coordinate with HSE to ensure OSHA compliance and internal standards.
• Participate in weekly trainings and operator meetings.
• Collect and manage billing information for assigned jobsites and provide to accounting before monthly close dates.
• Handle customer inquiries, investigate water quality issues, service disruptions and questions.
• Add chemicals to disinfect and treat water and wastewater.
• Inspect vehicles, perform pre-trip checks, and maintain cleanliness.
• Control stocking levels through inventory systems.
• Assist with mobilization, installation and inspection of new units.
