Job summary

Project Solutions Inc. is seeking Water and Wastewater Operators/Field Technicians to provide nationwide utility operations, maintenance, and repair services. Responsibilities include regulatory compliance, sampling, inspections, and emergency repairs at NPS-managed facilities.

The role requires a valid state-issued water/wastewater operator license (Class I or higher) and 3+ years of hands-on experience in water or wastewater systems. Travel to remote field locations may be involved.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued Water Treatment, Distribution, or Wastewater Operator License (Class I or higher).
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in water or wastewater system operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate potable water and wastewater treatment systems to ensure safe, continuous service.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on treatment plants and distribution/collection networks.
• Conduct regulatory sampling, testing, and reporting per federal, state, and local requirements.
• Maintain operator logs, maintenance records, and monthly reports.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment to restore system performance.
• Operate and maintain SCADA and respond to alarms and issues.
• Ensure compliance with EPA, SDWA, NPDES, and coordinate with COR.
