Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist, Field Engineering to install, calibrate, and service complex equipment at customer locations. The role requires diagnosing issues, coordinating with engineering teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction during deployments.

The position involves extensive travel to CONUS/OCONUS sites, 12-hour shifts, and potential relocation. A DoD security clearance is required or active eligibility, with TS/SCI preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience; Graduate Degree with at least 2 years experience; in lieu of a degree, minimum 8 years of related experience.
• Current Secret or higher DoD security clearance; TS/SCI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, repair and maintain customer-installed equipment.
• Develop and execute test plans to isolate anomalies and minimize downtime.
• Interpret sketches, schematics, and wiring diagrams for assigned equipment.
• Provide on-site training to customer support personnel when required.
• Maintain logs and charts for analysis and trend detection.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Field Management; communicate with customer personnel.
