Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. seeks a Specialist, Field Engineering to install, operate, maintain, and repair equipment at customer sites. The role includes field change coordination, training, and direct customer liaison across CONUS/OCONUS deployments.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of experience or a Graduate Degree with 2+ years, plus a current DoD security clearance. Willingness to travel and relocate will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
• Current Secret, or higher, DoD security clearance. TS/SCI is preferred

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, maintain, repair and modify equipment at customer installations.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Develop or modify test plans to isolate anomalies and reduce downtime.
• Interpret schematics, drawings, and wiring diagrams of assigned equipment.
• Maintain logs and charts for analysis and trend detection.
• Coordinate with customer personnel to provide information and services as required.
