Job summary

Morgan Corp. is seeking a Surveyor to assist in managing all-field survey requirements within project scopes.

The role involves site topographic surveys, construction layout, level loops, and machine control setup, with travel to job sites and coordination with field and office teams to ensure accurate deliverables. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of construction surveying experience, AutoCAD and Trimble Business Center familiarity, and the willingness to travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in Construction Survey or related field.
• Willingness to travel and work at various sites as needed.
• Self-starter with leadership, safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• AutoCAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform site topographic surveys using GPS rovers and robotic total stations.
• Conduct construction layout including utilities, earthwork, foundations, and staking.
• Complete level loops and traverse loops to verify elevations and coordinates.
• Execute construction as‑built surveys for closeout documentation.
• Operate survey equipment for machine control setup, calibration, and verification.
• Independently manage field tasks on assigned projects; may support multiple crews.
• Travel to job sites up to ~75% and communicate survey requirements to teams.
• Provide technical support related to survey methods, equipment, and workflows.
