Job summary

Morgan Corp. is seeking a Surveyor to support field and office survey needs on diverse commercial and industrial projects in the Southeast region. You will perform topographic surveys, construction layout, and as-builts, using GPS rovers, robotic total stations, AutoCAD, and Trimble Business Center.

Travel up to 75% and collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate, timely deliverables. We value safety, precision, and initiative; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred and 3+ years in construction

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • AutoCAD experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in Construction Survey or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel and work at various locations as needed.
  • Self-starter with the ability to set standards of excellence in leadership, safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Perform site topographic surveys using GPS rovers and robotic total stations.
  • Conduct construction layout, including utilities, earthwork, foundations, and other project-specific staking.
  • Complete level loops and/or traverse loops to verify control elevations and coordinates.
  • Execute construction as‑built surveys for project closeout documentation.
  • Operate survey equipment for machine control setup, calibration, and verification.
  • Independently manage field tasks on assigned projects; higher levels may support multiple crews or larger scopes.
  • Travel frequently to job sites as required (up to ~75%).
  • Maintain professional communication with project managers, clients, and team members.
