MORRIS & RITCHIE ASSOCIATES, INC. (MRA) is seeking an entry level Survey Field Technician/Helper for our Georgetown, DE office. You will assist the Survey Crew Chief with boundary, topographic, and construction surveys, and you should enjoy outdoor work.

Must be able to carry up to 50 pounds and have a basic understanding of plans. We offer a competitive salary, PTO, holidays, comprehensive health coverage, life and disability insurance, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Must have HS Diploma/GED.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Ability to carry up to 50 pounds and work outdoors for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Uses equipment such as tape, chains, sight rods, surveying and GPS instrumentation in conducting surveys.
• Creates field sketches to record engineering data.
• Operates truck, maintains survey equipment and tools.
• Assists crew chief and property line surveyor to accomplish goals.
