Job summary

Moore Engineering, Inc. seeks a Survey Technician II to gather field data and stake boundary lines for land surveying and engineering projects. You will support the crew, operate Trimble GPS and Total Stations, and help maintain equipment on a safety-conscious site.

The role emphasizes accurate data extraction, adherence to procedures, and teamwork within an employee-owned culture. Regular field work and physical activity are required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in surveying or civil engineering or minimum two years of survey technician experience.
• Operate survey field equipment including Trimble GPS, Robotic, and Total Stations.
• Valid driver's license and insurability.
• Ability to perform physical work and handle data collected in the field.

Responsibilities

• Follow directives of the Survey Crew Chief to complete projects.
• Capture field data and stake boundary/construction lines as required.
• Keep field equipment in good working order and maintain maintenance records.
• Ensure data formatting per job requirements and state regulations.
• Assist with safety procedures and on-site duties as needed.
