Job summary

Moore Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Survey Technician II in Colorado to gather field data and stake boundary or construction lines for surveying projects.

You will follow the Survey Crew Chief, ensure data accuracy, and maintain equipment and safety protocols. The role requires an Associate degree in Surveying or Civil Engineering or at least two years of survey experience, and you will operate Trimble GPS and Total Stations, driving a survey vehicle and supporting field operations with

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Surveying or Civil Engineering or minimum two years of survey technician experience
• Operate field survey equipment including Trimble GPS, Robotic, and Total Stations
• Must have valid driver’s license and be insurable
• Ability to perform physical work (walk, bend, lift 50–100 lbs) and handle field data

Responsibilities

• Follows directives of the Survey Crew Chief to complete projects
• Maintains field data accuracy and separates erroneous data from good data
• Keeps survey equipment in good working condition and maintains maintenance records
• Keeps survey vehicle supplied with necessary supplies
• Adheres to safety procedures and uses PPE
• Other duties as assigned
