The Walsh Group - Walsh Construction & Archer Western is seeking a Party Chief for the TSENC/I-26 Downtown Connector project in Asheville, NC. You will supervise the survey crew, perform topography surveys, field layout, and coordinate with the jobsite survey manager to ensure accurate data collection and on-time milestones.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years verifiable surveying experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather.
• Ability to comply with safety policies and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; may stand, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field surveying tasks including topography, field layout, boundary layout, and data collection.
• Coordinate with offsite survey manager and project staff for daily operations.
• Maintain and upgrade survey equipment and data collection technology.
• May work as a one-person crew or perform other related duties as required.
