The Walsh Group is seeking a Party Chief in Burnsville, NC to supervise the survey crew, perform topography surveys, field layout, and coordinate with the jobsite survey manager. The role offers opportunities to work across the U.S.

Formación

• 3-5 years verifiable surveying experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied weather conditions.
• Ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; may stand, bend, kneel or sit for long periods.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

OVERVIEW

Archer Western is currently seeking a Party Chief for the TSENC, 225175 NC197 PDB, in Burnsville, NC. The Party Chief's Primary function to supervise members of the survey crew and perform topography surveys, field layout, and coordinate with jobsite survey manager. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee field surveying tasks such as topography, field layout, boundary layout, and data collection
• Ability to coordinate with survey manager, that may be offsite, and with project management staff for daily operations
• Provide care to survey equipment and understand usage of data collection equipment and upgrades to technology
• May be required to work as a one-person crew; May perform other related duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS
