Bowman is seeking a Survey Party Chief to lead field crews in Indianapolis, IN. You will supervise survey crews, coordinate with contractors, and identify controls for property lines while ensuring accuracy and safety on site.

The role requires 3+ years on a land surveying party, with preferred experience as a Party Chief and strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Expect diverse field tasks and close client collaboration.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience on a land surveying party.
• Prior Party Chief experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of field procedures for boundary and ALTA/NSPS surveys.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day supervision of the survey field crew, including training and mentoring.
• Coordinate with contractors to provide survey services.
• Identify controls for property lines and decide survey approach.
• Gather information to conduct surveys efficiently and assign tasks to crew.
• Discuss work with clients as necessary and maintain records of surveys.
• Maintain survey equipment and vehicles and manage inventory.
