Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working on a land surveying party.
• Prior Party Chief experience a plus.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of field procedures for boundary and ALTA/NSPS surveys.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision of the survey field crew and ensure quality and methodology.
• Coordinate with contractors to provide survey services.
• Identify controls for property lines and determine surveying approach.
• Gather data and assign tasks to crew members to optimize time.
• Discuss work with clients when necessary.
• Make calculations and maintain essential survey records.
• Ensure survey equipment is maintained and inventories are up to date.
