Job summary

Precision Measurements, Inc. seeks a Survey Instrument Person to perform land surveys of roads, bridges, and buildings sites. You will establish lines for construction stakeouts and easements, recover property corners, set traverse control points, and direct the survey party when the party chief is absent.

You will set up and operate survey equipment, including data collectors, level, and GPS, and handle stakeout and location surveys with appropriate tools.

Qualifications

• Carrying out a range of surveying assignments and assisting the Survey Party Chief.
• Setting lines, corners, and traverse control points for boundary surveys.
• Setting stakes for construction stakeout projects and locating survey points.

Responsibilities

• Direct the survey party during the absence of the party chief.
• Set up and operate survey equipment including data collector, level, and GPS.
• Perform stakeout and location surveys using applicable survey equipment.
