Job summary

Blew & Associates, P.A. is seeking a Survey Crew Chief to supervise field surveys nationwide. You will oversee data collection, ensure high-quality deliverables, and lead field teams across various survey types while coordinating with project managers and clients.

The role requires 3+ years as a crew chief, proficiency with total stations, GPS, and data collectors, and a readiness to travel. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for on-site field operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief
• Proficient with survey equipment (total stations, GPS, data collectors)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee field survey activities and ensure deliverable quality
• Locate boundaries, pins, utilities; perform ALTA, boundary, construction staking, and topographic surveys
• Check and reduce raw field data, perform calculations, and download data
• Follow project managers' instructions and work orders; communicate progress daily
• Maintain survey equipment and troubleshoot field issues; travel regionally/nationally as needed
• Work overtime, including weekends, as required
