Job summary

Dewberry is seeking a Survey Instrument Operator to join a field survey crew based in Panama City, FL. You will perform boundary, topography, ALTA, right of way, and construction surveys outdoors and travel for assignments as required.

Responsibilities include assisting the field supervisor, operating total stations and data collectors, and keeping accurate field records while maintaining gear and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate survey instrumentation accurately and safely.
• Willingness to travel for out-of-town assignments and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Assist the field supervisor with daily crew workload.
• Operate survey total stations, data collectors and levels.
• Daily uploading and downloading of data collectors.
• Maintain instrumentation and perform routine care.
