Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Surveillance Investigator to perform discreet mobile and stationary surveillance to support insurance claims. You will travel daily to cases in the field, with auto and travel allowances provided and no fixed office to report to.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to complete training. You will document observations, use surveillance tools, and coordinate with other investigators while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Post offer, must complete the training/orientation course.
• Minimum of one year of verifiable investigations or protective service experience.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to type reports in Microsoft Word with minimal errors.
• Proficient with laptops, video cameras and cell phones.
• Capable of multitasking and maintaining focus in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent investigations of insurance claims across multiple coverages.
• Utilize surveillance techniques and equipment to monitor subjects covertly.
• Document and report observations clearly and concisely.
• Collaborate with other investigators and law enforcement as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal and ethical standards.
