Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Surveillance Investigator to perform discreet mobile and stationary surveillance of claimants to assist with insurance claims. The role requires travel daily to field cases, independent work, and precise report documentation.

You will coordinate with other investigators and law enforcement as needed while maintaining strict confidentiality and ethical standards. Qualifications include a high school diploma, 1 year of investigative experience, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Post offer training/orientation course must be completed.
• Minimum of 1 year verifiable work experience, preferably in investigations or protective service.
• Flexible to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Able to type reports in Microsoft Word with minimal errors.
• Proficient with laptops, video cameras and cell phones.
• Ability to work in a very independent environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent investigations of insurance claims across workers’ comp, general liability, property and casualty, and disability.
• Utilize surveillance techniques and equipment to monitor subjects covertly.
• Document and report observations and relevant information clearly and concisely.
• Collaborate with other investigators and law enforcement as needed to gather information.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal and ethical standards in surveillance operations.
